Insect screens are practical frame-grid elements that are installed in front of a balcony, terrace or front door in order to prevent the entry of insects into the room. Insect screens are made of special fine-meshed fabrics that keep insects away, but still let pass a lot of light and air. In contrast to simple self-adhesive fly screens, erfal insect screens are made of high-quality aluminum frames in combination with hard-wearing functional fabrics. These are matched and attached within a millimetre to the doorway-dimension and, however, can be simply opened, curled or suspended as required.

Types and particularities
Hinged screens
As a long-lasting and robust insect screen for balcony and terrace doors, the erfal hinged screens are an excellent solution. These seem to be like a second almost invisible door. The space-saving profiles can also be mounted on aluminum, plastic and wooden doors without drilling or screwing. Ergonomic grips, the magnetic tape border profile as well as the step for a safe foot control without a free hand serve for a very high operation comfort. Brush seals also seal an uneven ground against the smallest creepy-crawly.
Sliding screens
Sliding screens are ideally suited as a supplement to existing sliding doors and other large openings of up to 3 x 3,5 meters. Due to the space-saving sliding technology, the entire area of the living zone remains usable. The systems having up to six wings are equipped with a child-friendly, continuous handle bar. Optionally, a foot recess for a freehand-operation can be integrated. Stickers or sprouts prevent traversing. The quality and longevity of the sliding screens from erfal are characterized by the quiet track rollers as well as by gentle deceleration and secure adjusting. In addition, the robust systems are extremely easy to fit and unhook.
Swing doors
A comfortable alternative to the hinged screen doors are the swing doors from erfal. Even without a free hand, they can be opened easily up to 120 degrees in both directions by gentle pressure. The safe closing of the swing door is achieved by opposite rotating spring pins and magnetic blocks that are hidden in the profile. The quiet, self-locking system can optionally also be equipped with a fastener from the inside, from the outside or from both sides. Swing doors can quickly and easily be unhooked without expert support.
Standardized pleated insect screens for doors
Because of their baseboard that is almost flush with the adjacent areas, diagonally movable insect screen pleated doors are the right choice for terraces and balconies with barrier-free access and to avoid risks of stumbling. Thanks to the folded fabric in the cassette, you can gain valuable space. In addition to the pleating of the robust fabric with integrated tear-proof Vectran tension cords, the attractive appearance is supported by the space-saving function of the pleated door. When not in use, the pleated blind disappears in the aluminum frame profile. An additional plus is the operation - for which a particularly low effort is necessary - and that for systems of up to 3.40 m width and 2.60 m height. An optional mounting frame system also offers the possibility to adapt the pleated doors flexibly to any installation situation.
Small pleated insect screens for doors
erfal offers a smaller type of the pleated blind insect screens for doors next to the standard type. This space-saving type convinces through a small profile which only has a width of 22 mm. Thus, it is ideal for terraces or balcony doors if hinged or roll-away screens cannot be used. The slight mounting depth is also perfect for existing blinds. A barrier-free access is guaranteed and the risk of tripping hazards is minimized thanks to the guidance of the fabric suspension in the upper box profile and the almost flush bottom bar. The easy-going constructions has an optimal running behaviour and a mounting frame system enables a flexible adaption. The operation of the moveable sash profile, made through the integrated handle strip, is especially comfortable and a minimum effort. The new small pleated blind insect screens for doors of erfal can be manufactured in heights and widths up zo 3 m.
Electric roll-up screens for doors
The low-noise electric roller blind is specially designed for the use on large glass surfaces without a door hinge area. The handling via wall control or radio hand transmitter is convenient and simple. On request, several systems can also be controlled with one transmitter. In addition, the high-speed motor works very softly with a soft start and soft brake. A collision guard automatically stops the roller blind when it is disturbed by objects. Visually appealing, the electric roller blind disappears in the cassette when it is not in use and therefore only appears when it is needed.
The solar panel is an innovation and can be integrated and upgraded ideally.
