Insect screens are practical frame-grid elements that are installed in front of a window in order to prevent the entry of insects into the room. Insect screens are made of special fine-meshed fabrics that keep insects away, but still let pass a lot of light and air. In contrast to simple self-adhesive fly screens, erfal insect screens are made of high-quality aluminum frames in combination with hard-wearing functional fabrics. These are matched and attached within a millimetre to the window dimension and, however, can be simply opened, curled or suspended as required.

Framed insect screens
In wood, plastic or aluminum windows - insect screens as framed insect screens fit perfectly thanks to more than 100 different installation methods. The assembly can be carried out without drilling by means of practical mounting brackets made of stainless steel. The simple design fits harmoniously into the window and protects effectively against mosquitoes, gnats and flies. The all-round brushes between window and insect screen ensure an insect-proof seal with drainage function.
Hinged screens
Accurate fitting insect screens with an unchanged usability of the windows - this is what the erfal hinged screens offer. The low installation depth, the ergonomic design grips and the choice of the opening direction to the inside or outside meet every requirement with simultaneous functionality. The assembly is carried out on the window frame, in the clearance of the gatefold or directly in the wall embrasure. High stability and, if desired, noise reduction because of integrated brush damping guarantee the longevity of the hinged screen.
Roller blinds
The ideal solution for all facade windows is the flexible roller blind insect screen. Once opened, once closed - always in the way you want it. Just pull it down and it’s only fresh air that enters your room. If the roller blind is not needed, it disappears in the discreet cassette. There is lots of operation and maintenance comfort because of the integrated brake, the removable service screen for readjustment as well as the lateral brush guidance against weaving-out if it is windy. The roller blinds are also available for motorized operation.
