Individual sun protection solutions are not only important in the private sector but also in the sector of office and andministration buildings. Since 2014, erfal GmbH & Co. KG offers its products and services also on the Dutch market. Numerous interior decorators and specialist suppliers of sun protection of the neighbouring country have already realized their construction projects with erfal. One of them is „De Rotterdam“, the building designed by Rem Koolhaas near the Erasmus Bridge in Rotterdam. „De Rotterdam“ is the biggest multifunctional building of The Netherlands, comprising office levels, a hotel, a multi-storey car park, accommodation units, restaurants, conference locations, a café as well as sports ans recreational facilities. The 44 level high-rise building has been finished at the end of the year 2013 and since sumemr 2014, erfal products are also part of the inventory.

Since then, 1500 electric roller blinds of the model Medium Plus with cover profile offer protection of overheating and guarantee a glare-free working, combined with modern operating comfort. For the shading of the glass surfaces of the offices, nearly 9.000 qm of a special screen fabric have been used.
In order to fulfil the special wishes and guidelines of the architect, the technique of the electric erfal roller blinds has been modified. A special adaption in form of a lowerable bottom profile enables a nearly flush-mount installation of the roller blinds into the ceiling construction.
