Eurojust is the European judicial cooperation for international criminality. The new centre for Eurojust in the international area in The Hague was developed in cooperation with the supervisory authority of the central regulation, the Ministry of Justice and Security as well as the city administration. The complexity of the site and the strict security regulations are requiring an accurate and integrated design solution. The building is an elegant composition between two buildings: the skyscraping tower with 12 levels towards the Johann de Wittlaan and the low socle on the park site with 4 levels.

Erfal got in 2016 the tender over 832 Medium roller blinds with bracket profile. The used fabric was a metallized Trevira CS Screen fabric with a low transmission value. A BREEAM calculation, to document the energy input as well as the Glare Control Class 3, was the requirement for a successful realisation. The complete building was equipped in reference to the sustainability, whereby a BREEAM qualification with a rating of 3 stars as well as a score of 55.89 % were realised. Eurojust want to express their sustainable ambitions with this step. The delivery and mounting were made over a narrow time window. Further, this was made via our partner Iedema Appelscha in April 2017.
