In October 2017, BZ Bildung-Beratung-Innovation, a company based in Leipzig, Germany, approached erfal to enquire about the possibility of designing the Trevira joint booth at the Heimtextil 2018 trade fair using privacy rail systems. This joint booth was to be the centrepiece in hall 4.2 and aimed to stimulate contract business. 16 Trevira CS customers from the home textiles and technical textile sector would each have a separate area covering a total surface area of approximately 1,300 m². Spacious meeting islands and areas for Trevira presentations were also to be integrated. Curtains that were to function both as decoration and as a partition between the areas of the individual manufacturers were to be mounted on erfal privacy rail systems.

The single rails were to be attached to each other using corner and cross connectors. As a special solution, a spacer with a mounting hook was developed to have two rails in parallel and to hang the rail two metres suspended from the ceiling construction. In total, eight semi-circular curved rails with a radius of two metres were installed to create the individual consultation areas.
Although we had only a few weeks between project planning and delivery, we were able to successfully implement this project and thus prove ourselves more than capable of constructing complex trade fair booths thanks to our product, manufacture, and delivery with our own fleet of vehicles.
